A home is a place a family comes back to after work or school to relieve their tiredness and a tranquil place of relaxation, while also being like a storehouse to protect the family's belongings while they are away and keep the indoor environment from deteriorating. Because the owner is a researcher of architectural environmental studies, I designed a "3-layered box” which has various types of openings to sustain a favorable indoor environment for the family of this house, a husband and wife without children, whether they are home or not.
